If Airframe Total Time is over 10,000 hours or the Engine is over TBO, this MUST be disclosed to me before the test is scheduled.

Scheduling Process:

The scheduling window for the following month is open from the 13th-17th of the current month.

Around the 18th, applicant's that we are offering a checkride will start to receive emails. Please respond within 24 hours or your appointment will be given away.
If you have not received a reply by the end of the month, I'm sorry, but we were not able to accommodate your request. Please be mindful that I receive 5 to 6 times more requests than I have availability for.
Your request will not transfer month to month. The process will start over on the 13th of the following month.

Tired of hearing that there is a DPE shortage? Do your part in taking full advantage of my schedule by NOT cancelling once your appointment is confirmed. This wastes my most valuable resource, time, and makes other student's wait time longer. Please do not schedule until you meet all the requirements for the test!

Effective August 1, 2026 the fee for all checkrides is $1500

Retests remain $100 per hour for my time (of tests I previously disapproved).

Discontinuances that I issue remain no charge.

As an examiner and a professional pilot, I understand that an FAA practical test, commonly referred to as a checkride, can be a stressful and long anticipated event. With proper preparation from your Certified Flight Instructor and a good understanding of what to expect, a practical test can be a smooth and rewarding day.
